Veteran artistes featured on DJ Jason’s ‘Wagonist’ rhythm
Music critics are sending positive feedback about music producer DJ Jason's 'Wagonist' rhythm, which was released in October on his own DJ Jason Music label.
The rhythm features artistes such as Ganggoolie, Admiral Tibet, Chico and a raft of young artistes. DJ Jason has always had a passion for music production and has produced other artistes such as Mr Easy and Christopher Martin. He has produced projects such as the 'Legacy' and 'Celebration' rhythms.
"I am a big fan of music and expressing myself through my production is a career, a hobby and also a business for me. I've been able to achieve a huge amount of listeners through my mixtapes and promoting my productions through my mixtape platforms," DJ Jason said. Through his mixtapes, he has amassed more than 100 million views worldwide on YouTube.
Ganggoolie delivers the title track on the Wagonist project, where he burns a fire on all bandwagonists - that particular class of people who join a cause or grant support only when it is popular or fashionable to do so. Ganggoolie shows up again on the project with the romantic Caan Get Enough of You where he professes his love for the female in his life. Dancehall artiste Chico, a star from the 1990s, shows up on Chance which is arguably the best song on the rhythm track. He pulls out all the stops as he speaks about compatibility and true love, waxing lyrical as he convinces the object of his affection that " you were made special for a king". Veteran Dillgin strikes a regretful tone on I Should Have Listen that will have fans bopping their heads.
Other artistes featured on the track include Ras Ajai ( Broken Pieces), newcomers Brown Paper Boss ( Life ah Di Greatest), Triple Blaxx ( If I Follow My Heart), and Truvice ( Coming Home).
