Taximan on larceny charges to seek bail
Andre McIntosh, a 30-year-old taxi operator who was arrested and charged for stealing a sum of money from a park vehicle, is set to reappear in the St Catherine Parish Court where a bail application will be made.
McIntosh, who is answering to a charge of larceny, was further remanded when he appeared in court on Friday.
It is reported that on August 28, the complainant conducted business in Constant Spring where a sum of money was collected and placed inside his vehicle.
It is further reported that he went on to stop at a gas station in the Ferry District to conducted business.
Upon his return, he realised that the vehicle was broken into and his money was missing.
A report was made and an investigation launched,which resulted in the arrest of McIntosh.
He is expected to return to court on October 11.
